How to take precaution and develop your immunity during The Pandemic situation?

WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

Once a pandemic arrives in your community, you can limit your risk of getting sick, as well as passing the pathogen onto others, by taking a few precautions namely washing hands, cleaning your mouth and face, getting enough vitamin C, maintaining social distancing, etc.

Wash your hands regularly!

Washing your hands for at least 20 seconds is the most important and helpful practice. The largest defense against contracting the coronavirus is washing your hands for 20 seconds or longer and do it often, according to the CDC. Hand sanitizer can be an effective means of disinfecting surfaces and hands for most germs, but it is no replacement for washing your hands with soap and warm water. So, regularly and thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water.

Clean your mouth and face frequently!

Brush your teeth and wash your face more than twice a day as we should maintain hygiene during this time of the pandemic. It’s even healthier if you use a bamboo toothbrush. Why is a bamboo toothbrush better? Because bamboo toothbrush natural bristles preserve oral hygiene as they are naturally antimicrobial. Wood and bamboo, however, have natural antimicrobial properties that kill bacteria, even those that penetrate the surface. Also, they are easy to dispose of and are not harmful to the environment.

Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.

Practice social distancing!

When someone coughs or sneezes, they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain viruses. So, maintain at least one meter (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the virus if the person coughing has the disease. Also avoid shaking hands, even if someone doesn’t show any of the symptoms of this pandemic.

Avoid sharing your cutlery!

Always eat or drink with your cutlery. Don’t share your cutlery because it can transmit germs too. The wholesale bamboo cutlery sets are an eco-friendly and much healthier alternative to plastic disposable cutlery. As mentioned earlier, wood and bamboo have anti-bacterial properties, and much like lemons in nature, do not have pathogenic bacteria growing in them. Also, bamboo is much stronger and much more hard-wearing than other similar materials which means your cutlery will last for longer without breaking.
